I doubt it will work though. Most people don't take Sam seriously. Except some of the bigger Brit fans who want to see her "happy" and feel Sam is the only who can make her "happy".

Remember, she was just heading into the divorce proceedings with Kevin at the time. Her parents were siding with Kevin (and, by the looks of it, using the boys as "ammo" to try to get her to clear up her drug/alchohol problems). It sounds like she was becoming very paranoid about the whole thing.

My guess is that she was at a party, talking in a paranoid way about Kevin and her Mom, and Lufti overheard it. Perhaps a light went off in his head, and he saw an opportunity.

The next thing you know, Brit is handing a faux-restraining order to her Mom, warning her to stay away from her boys because of "prescription drug abuse." (Pot, meet kettle!)

Jon Eardley, the alleged attorney for Britney Spears, was recently sanctioned by a Los Angeles judge for "knowingly misleading a court."
Eardley came under fire for a lawsuit he filed against Downey Savings & Loan concerning their foreclosure on Thelma Spiritos' home in Whittier, Calif.
PageSix.com understands that Eardley has lived at that address with his wife Michelle, and that Thelma Spiritos is his mother-in-law. Conflict of interest, anyone?
The court documents show that Eardley appeared, alone, before Judge Jones on October 26, 2007, and obtained a "stay" on any foreclosure by claiming that his application was "unopposed" by the savings and loan company.
Downey Savings & Loan had no idea he was even at the court.
They did oppose the application and Judge Jones later granted sanctions against Eardley for close to $4,000 because his "actions were absolutely intentional and avoidable" and he "knowingly misled the court."
When Eardley attempted to have this case moved to federal court, like he did with Britney's conservatorship case, the feds chose not to get involved. "This is standard operating procedure for Jon Eardley," our source tells us.
On December 12, 2007, Judge Elizabeth White dismissed the case, and Eardley, his wife and Thelma were forced to pay an undisclosed sum to Downey Savings & Loan. They were also ordered to pay the bank $14,000 in additional costs incurred by the bank.
Until recently, the Whittier home address was listed on the California State Bar Association's Web site, but we are told that "it mysteriously changed when Jon became the alleged attorney for Britney. By the looks of it, Lufti entered Brit's life by playing to her paranoia about her Mother(and we all know by now that Brit will go to court for her money, but not for her boys...which shows you right there how her mind works!)

Whether Lynne was collecting cheques or not, Lufti was likely telling Brit that she was. It doesn't have to be true, he just has to SAY it is, and it makes it true in Brit's mind.

THIS is what makes mental illness (and/or lack of education) so scary! If Brit had her wits about her she could've easily followed the money trail herself...but she was so paranoid and dependent that she believed she needed Lufti to help her (while he was really only just preying on her).
