Marilyn was the starter of the "tabloid queen profile" and a victim of herself and actions.Behaviour wise, Britney, Lindsay, and Paris resemble Marilyn a lot. She was not a classy woman, she was a symbol of sex and sin, not of elegance.
Marilyn was a lot far from a "great actress" - specially because she did not have a chance to actually show her acting talents.Yes, the woman is a legend, yes, there won't be another Marilyn, but people, she wasn't the great performer, nor the great lady, she was extremely disturbed and explored, suffered through her hole life and probably had mental illness.
However, she was not a great actress, nor a lady, she was a pinup and became a pop icon.

And by the way, the photographer worked with Marilyn and chose Lindsay because he thought she was the one who came closest to Marilyn. Not phisically, but her aura. I think he knows better than us about that, specially because he knew Marilyn in flesh and blood, instead of us who can only see a tiny bit of her real self in wideos and pics.

3. Xtina because she is already a singing star, and a very good one at that.

Of course there will never be another Marilyn.
