It is unlikely that anything will happen to Britney for missing the deposition today. It seems that a lot of people are confusing this for an appearance in court. Depositions take place outside of court and are done at the discretion of attorneys. It's part of the discovery process when getting ready for trial. It's quite common to reschedule depositions due to conflicts and things of that nature.

Of course, that said, she can't postpone it too long. Legally, however, it is unlikely that there would be any consequences in this situation. The deposition will just be rescheduled (sooner rather than later).

I am a mother with a true diagnosed panic disorder and anxiety. It sucks. BUT I have had to do things that were absolutely seemingly impossible and I did them because I HAD TO. This is just a deposition. You sit and answer some questions. I would be anxious, anyone would be. But you DO IT because you have to.

You don't get "very sick" with anxiety. You get nervous, shaky, and have an upset stomach. But there are medications to relieve that and calm you down and you just have to push through and do it.

Because she has to answer questions about her parenting? If she were confident that she was a good parent, there should be only the usual little anxiety of being questioned. 1) Yes, it is all about when it works for all parties which is why they schedule it ahead of time. Which they did, which Britney knew about, but then decided to sick-out on one hour after everyone was already at the office. That is nothing if not SELFISH and SELF-Centered!
2) As far as I can tell, Paranoid is Britney's normal state of mind these days....

I'm not going to say that Kevin or Britney either one are worse publicity whores but what I will say is when people magazine goes before a judge and tries to use his right to free press as a way to get legal documents about children under the age of 18 it says a lot about the United States. Children in this country are supposed to be protected from this no matter who the fuck their parents are or how worthless their parents are. Shit if a child is in foster care in most states the teacher at their school normally doesn't even know. Kids are kids and anything pertaining to them should be a confidential court matter. However, I believe what she's scared of in regard to this deposition is answering the questions. See, Kaplan is planning to ask a ton of questions with really concise details such as "Did you use drugs with so-and-so on November the nineteenth of this year in the parking lot of the Chevron on ___________ street?"

And he's asking these things because he has PROOF of them...he's going to ask if she has ever passed out drunk or high in front of her kids...and if she says no, he has the videotape from her OWN security system which her old bodyguard retrieved from the trash when she threw out the tapes. (I can't believe she didn't burn them or crush them or something but in typical BRITNEY fashion, she thinks if SHE washes her hands of something, then by golly she's DONE with it.

Anyway, Kaplan has literally dozens of photo/video evidence items, plus multiple witness statements concerning her drug use, drinking, and erratic behavior while pregnant and "caring" for the children. A handful of the pics are even from sites like this one, dlisted, ONTD, etc-- such as the ones where she's blowing smoke right in the kids' faces and letting them splash about in the pool with NO floaties/lifevests while her BACK is turned, texting.

See, if Britney lies when she answers, not only will she be committing perjury (and given her recent legal woes I don't think a judge would look kindly on ANY charges she might rack up by perjuring herself) and could go to jail (like lil Kim did) but if she tells the TRUTH...well, she's admitting that she is a drinking, drugging, promiscuous, lying, attention seeking, erratically-behaving idiot who is obviously not fit in any possible way to be the parent of a dustbunny much less two toddlers.

I don't have to justify my position to you. I am NOT employed by the courts or Kevin's attorney and therefore NOT bound by confidentiality. Britney, with her missed and failed tests added together is in the double digits already and those items, my friend, are in the PUBLIC RECORD.

The thing about custody hearings is that you are guilty untill you can prove
yourself innocent. People can say whatever they want and you have to prove
you are innocent. They errrr on the side of caution when it comes to children.

So far, Britney is taking drug tests and passing them. If she failed even
one Kaplan would SCREAM for custody. So far he's got nothing. And the
documents also showed that Britney clearly loved her children and was very
capable in taking care of them. She does clearly resent the monitors etc. and
