Playing with your child for the cameras does not a great mom make you. Remember people, she didn't have this kind of love in her heart naturally, it had to be coaxed out by a judge. Don't be fooled! This is a performer who doesn't really sing and is so airbrushed in most ad and magazine articles, thar it is hard to know what her body, skin, hair, etc. really does look like. Don't get sucked into the mirage. It is exactly that -- a mirage. I have to disagree with you. There were plenty of pics playing with her kids before the custody crap. Did you ever think that maybe everything might weigh in on her and the only thing she thinks is love is coming in from the pictures and the papps and stuff. I think for a while she was in denial of her surroundings and everything going bad for her. She used to take walks with Sean all the time and having two baby boys back to back has its limitations. Of course some moms can handle it but others cant, not everyone is a super mom. This seems like a step in the right direction and I'm all for it. If we would see more of this and less of starbucks runs, a lot of people would be behind her again. Things i hope will look up for her and her boys.

Let me tell all of you people posting (who probably don't have kids)
1. saying how you'll be as a parent (when you dont have kids) is not worth the time. Being a parent is very hard.
There are days that I put my kids to bed at 8:00 hating them. Then miss them at 8:25.
2. Not all Mom's are the type to play all day long with their children. Some do and that's great. Some work. Some hate staying home. Children are a constant and require many things - my guy likes to stand on the kitchen island and swing the pendants - lovely.
This girl has made alot of mistakes but if she's trying to stay sober that's a good thing and you shouldn't hope that she'll fail. That is discusting.

I agree with you she has to show these kind of pics more often. I just think if she were to lay- low a bit more , the media would have to put these types of pictures up. Also mishaps and mistakes with 50 paps around are bound to happen while driving. If she has to go out ie, drug testing parenting class, hire a driver. I've seem mothers lose their kids to the fathers. Its rare but it does happen. But any judge who would give these kids to K-Fed would have to be out of his mind. They'r both bad parents, but since K-Fed already abandoned his first 2 kids, its obvious who is the better parent - the one with an income. Just ask Shar.

I'm a mother and one on the way and I would do anything for my children and my children always come first. Being a mother is tough but it is the best thing that ever happened to me. I have never felt hate towards my babies and to you Babs how can you put your kids to sleep hating them, maybe you should not have your children in your custody either. That's very scary for you to make a comment like that, sounds like you might need some help. And for those of you saying that it's not her fault because she wasn't raised the same as you and I, don't you think that would be even more of a reason for her to want her children so she can make a difference in their lives. I agree, I was raised in an abusive/ neglectful home. I know many people who had it worse then me. Through therapy I met many people who have daily struggles with coping with what they have been threw in their bad childhood. All the people I met that have children of their own, are the greatest parents seeking out skills through Education and research on the RIGHT way to raise their babies. Im know their are people who repeat abuse and neglect. Britney did not really have it so bad. Im sure she never went hungry. Always had a warm bed and water to bathe with daily. Or Was never beaten with a cat-and nine tail . Her mother was a teacher, she did not become famous until she was 17. Gosh, no helmets when they were being pulled around on concrete with Kfeds Nanny or Britneys Mom at Kfeds, lord both the Nanny or Brits Mom could have slipped and fell and overturned the wagon with the kids in them. I am amased by everyone in here. When she is out you say she should go play with her sons, and when she plays with her sons everyone finds it offensive. How can someone win. What a lot of people fail to realize or stop and look at is that when you are being hounded by the press the way she is (whether she is addicted to it or not,besides the point) that is a huge distraction to her personal life. It is a cycle like anything else. I know she has issues but who doesn't and its easy for a lot of people who are not in her position to stand back and point fingers. It seems to me that people love to bash on someone who is obviously a broken soul right now. Everyone handles sorrow and pain differently. It isn't rocket science that she is and has been grieving about stuff with kevin and so on. Maybe if people just left her alone she could breath for a little while and put her life back together. Shes human you guys, give it a break already.
