It is primarily about her lack of willingness to sacrifice for her own children.

I am a fellow who gained primary custody of my two children when they were quite young and raised them myself so I know what it takes to step up to the plate. Like so many of us I didn't have the enormous wealth, advantages and opportunities Ms. Spears has and has misused and abused.

She is quoted recently as saying she would die for her kids. Well, that's obvious bullshit as she can't even go to court for them, let alone risk her worthless life.

We are outraged for those two little defenseless kids whom she is sacrificing on the alter of her narcissistic, self-centered ego.

Remember last year it came out she'd tell those little boys they were mistakes, blaming them for ruining her life. I give props to Sarah Silverman for publicly calling Ms. Spears out for her despicable "parenting" when she referred to Britney's saying that to her kids when Sarah called them Brit's "adorable mistakes".

Of course, Spears' fans and some others got it wrong when they said Silverman was calling the kids that. Silverman was nailing Spears, NOT the kids. She was calling Brit-Brit out for her truly atrocious behavior, which has only become worse since the VMAs.

What people like Madonna, Richard Prior, Lenny Bruce and others before her did was most often done as "art" (however one wishes to argue the defintion of what "art" is). What Spears has done over th last year and a half is just plain bad behavior and increasingly ytterly disgusting. She hasn't even done any of this in the name of "art". It's just been her telling all the world "yeah, I'm a piece of country-ghetto trash to the point I'll even have my period in front of you and on camera, but so what! Britney Spears is a very public example of what is wrong in our society. Can you imagine if she actually did go home in her current state of behavior? First of all you can't get a restraining order without a hearing. And we all know how Britney feels about court hearings. You can get a temporary restraining order on an emergency basis if a judge feels someone is an imminent threat. The matter is then set for a full hearing where both sides have a chance to be heard. The TRO typically lasts until the full hearing date.

Just because you're upset with someone for selling pictures of you isn't grounds for a restraining order. A person has to have been abusive on an ongoing basis. You at least have to show that the person has a pattern of behavior that is frightening and harassing causing emotional distress. This would result in some sort of civil harassment order.

I suspect what the photogs saw were the application forms for a restraining order or civil harassment order which are available at any court house and even online.
