It's very simple, people. You can say what you want about what a pap does for a living, but if you really had an issue with it, you wouldn't be on this site. The fact is, they don't do anything illegal (most of the time,) but Perez does. Every picture the photographers take, whether on the red carpet or the street is copywritten. If someone wants to run that picture in print or on tv or online, the have to license it from the photographer or the agency that represents his/her material. That comes with a fee, of course. If someone takes those images and pulls them off of an agencies site WITHOUT permission and WITHOUT paying the necessary licensing fees, that is breach of copyright. There is literally no difference between that and stealing TVs off the back of a truck. What's worse, Perez actually MAKES money doing this by selling ads on his site! That would be akin to taking those TVs that you stole of the back of the truck and opening your own TV store. The guy is no less than a criminal.
