Maksim And Karina Break Up!

Dancing With The Stars? More like Dumping With The Stars! DWTS co-stars Karina Smirnoff and Maksim Chmerkovskiy have split, Karina's rep confirmed to Marc Malkin.

The dancing duo got engaged in December of 2009 after just seven months of dating, and despite looking lovey dovey when we snapped them at The Highlands last week, it looks like things have taken a turn for the worse!

Yikes, talk about an awkward season! Maybe they'll stay friends?

Think they'll reconcile?

How do you break up a FAKE relationship? Everyone on the planet know they were on the rebound when the "started dating". Katrina was hurt that Mario dumped her so she got with Mak. They were never connected, they looked like they were forcing it and it was done for attention. You can't break up something that wasnt real. They used up all the "air time" they could get and it wasnt helping their career anymore to pretend to be together so they called it off. YAWN, another non news event.

Well that sucks for her. I can't say that I'm surprised though. WOW - first Mario (which wasn't a big loss to begin with) & now Maksim (yeah - that one's got to hurt)!?!?!
