why shouldnt she have crossed the picket line? Her union (SAG/AFTRA) isn't the one striking... showing her support by bringing them food and saying she supports them should be enough. Besides.. I think DH only has about one more week of filming before they "run out" of scripts.. then they'll go on forced hiatus. No scripts = no filming. Unfortunately that means that all the drivers, set decorators, grips, etc. will not be working... how are THEY supposed to make a living. The writers are making alot of other people in the industry VERY angry, and Hollywood doesnt forgive easily

Yeah, she can afford to quit work early and join the strikers, but then production would stop and all the other people on the show would be out of work that much earlier. There are dozens of people who make the show, aside from the actors, and many of them only get paid per day. Those extra few days of work means a lot to them. They all know they'll be out of work soon but would you give up that last paycheck when you have a family to support?
Say what you want, but Eva is a well-known celebrity bringing a face to a strike that most people outside of the business don't really understand. That kind of support is priceless.
