PETA is indeed nothing more than a policital organization, structured to elicit sympathy and raise money while furthering an agenda that only makes sense on the surface. I like animals too, but PETA is ridiculous and there's nothing wrong with wearing real fur. Like someone wrote above, Pam Anderson walks around in UGGs, which are made of lambskin. I'm sure she rationalizes this in some way to make her feel better, because in the end that's all it's about. Rest assured, though, the lamb that died to make her UGGs did not care whether or not someone was going to eat him.
