To the person that stated incorrectly that Brad Renfro was "much younger" than Heath Ledger and a big deal was not made of his death-you are wrong!

Heath Ledger was 28 at the time of his passing and Brad Renfro was 25-that is 3 years by my math.
Also, Heath Ledger was an Academy Award nominated WORKING actor when he passed and Brad Renfro had been a very troubled young man for at least a decade struggling with an addiction to heroin and trouble with the law,
among other things. Brad's passing is not as surprising because he was headed down a dangerous path since his first drug arrest at 15 and a decade of issues with substance abuse. The same cannot be said about Heath Ledger.

RIP Heath. You made a lasting impression on many in your short time here on earth. Deepest sympathy to your family, Michelle, and sweet sweet Matilda.

I can´t believe this. I couldn´t believe it when I heard it this morning and I still can´t. When I open internet and all the pictures come up of Heath it feels like this is like a big joke, because things like these just don´t happen and it´s weird. He certainly didn´t plan any of this and it is just such an sad, sad accident. All of my prayers and thoughts are with Heath´s family and friends and especially with his daugher. He had a amazing future head of him. But let´s keep his memomry alive. He sure inspired many of us and he will be mourned for a long time. It´s just crazy. God bless you. It's a tragic lost and a big one to Hollywood. Warner Bros shudnt remove him from the posters and the movie campaign because, the fans and the whole world wants to see the last best performance ever of the decade by Heath "Joker" Ledger. As his fan, in my oppinion I wont see that Warner Bros is using the grieveness or cud make any benefit out of his demise and I dont see it as they r taking advantage of the tragedy. But as his fan, I think he shud be remembered as one of the most remarkable asset that Hollywood has had in this Millennium and his demise will surely be a great loss and thus give him the best tribute ever in The Dark Knight. I wont even be surprised if he gets to be nominated for Best Performance for his work @ The Dark Knight...May he rest in peace and deepest condolence to the Ledger family & Williams. Heath might have gone forever from this world but Michelle, dont banish him in Mathilda....

Heath Ledger touched us so deeply because in him we saw a son, a brother, a husband, a friend, a father, and through his life and many acting roles we even saw ourselves. It didn't matter that we never met him personally or that he was only 28 yrs. old. What mattered was that he spoke to each of us in the universal language of human reflection. He will always be remembered though more for who he was and not for what he did. And in the end that is what matters most.
