Lifetime's Project Runway Premiere Ratings Surpass Show's Best On Bravo!
This week's highly anticipated premiere of Project Runway on Lifetime saw ratings for it's season six premiere jump over 45% from the season five bow on Bravo just one year ago, according to THR.
That marks the highest debut ever for both the show, and for Lifetime, which attracted 4.2 million viewers Thursday night.
After a long battle with NBC which threatened to prevent the show from switching nets, PR received not only great reviews, but great ratings for both Runway and Models of the Runway, which got a 1.9 million viewers.
Compare both numbers to Bravo's carbon copy of Runway, The Fashion Show, which only drew an average of 1.2 million viewers, and Bravo's gotta be kicking themselves for letting Runway walk down the catwalk and over to Lifetime!
