I find doctor Phil to be a big hypocrite! He was screaming, both on his show, and on Larry King the other day about how Britney,s parents needed to step up and help get Britney the help she needs. That Britney,s parents needed to give her support while she is going through getting sober, and getting hep for possible bipolar disorer. Neither of Britney,s parents were taking that advice, they seemed more worried about hpublic perception, and how they were going to look to the public, as opposed to helping their child. BUT now when Jamie Lynn is pregnant, due to the lack of supervision, and proper education from her mother, all of a sudden to r. Phil, Britney,s parnets are angels.
Dr. Phil must have a deal to have mommy dearest on an upcoming show, or he is just a big fat hypocite, and fake at that!

As I see it, as soon as Jamie became a cash cow, Lynne no longer had any need for Britney. She did not want to deal with her anymore, she just washed her hands of her child. Lynn thought that Jamie was going to be her golden goose, and she disregarded one child for the other. It,s sad really, I feel for Britney, because as much as she needs people in her corner, she really has no one, no family who has her back. Everyone she has ever trusted has turned on her, and has turned their back on her. BUT I think Britney, with all the mistakes she,s made, has strength, and a resilience, that is rare. Most of us, in her situation, would have totally fell apart, but with the world against her, most wanting the worst to happen to her, she is still making it through, and has not given up on her life yet. It,s really amazing to me, and even a bit admirable.

Lynne Spears is an awful mother. She has 2 daughters not one, and all she seems to be doing is worrying about her Book that exploits her family and her new cash cow Jamie Lynnes carear. Its true that Britney took Lynne off her payroll, and look where it got her. I dont care how messed up your children are, a mother should be there for their children. I personally think what Dr. Phil does is unethical and goes against a client's best interest. As a therapist, you don't expose the client's vulnerabilities to the public, especially via a forum like tv. Sure, he provides them with aftercare, but at what expense and for what purpose? I think Lynn is probably guilty of being much too nice and lenient on her girls. They were probably spoiled to death as children..always in the spotlight and she allowed them to always have their way...this is the problem and that's obvious. Is she a horrible parent for that? Instead of blaming the mother, blame the young adults involved in the situation. It's their personal responsibility to engage in safe sexual practices if they choose to have sex. Yes, even at 16, they have personal responsibilities. They are not infants. The mother is not to blame.

Ultimately, I blame the USA government's failure to develop a nation wide policy to have a fully inclusive sexual education program, discussing safe sex as well as abstinence, starting from grade school. Shame on them.

Most likely she was taking the pill and she missed a day or 2. Timing can be everything when you're trying to prevent a pregnancy from happening. They do have the patch though that's actually really simple to use, just place it and leave in on for a month.=) Too bad Jamie didn't know that...or maybe she did but taking a pill everyday is more common, I think, nowadays. Yes she is young, but she is not the first young girl to get pregnant and will not be the last. Look at the positive. babies are blessings, bring joy to families. Maybe Britney needs to come live with me in the ghetto until she can get herself together. I have four grown children and they haven't went that crazy yet.she could hide out here and nobody would know who she is and that way she could just think abut the stupid things she is doing.
