Engaged? Is This A Joke?
Yup, looks like this was just part of Jamie Kennedy's comedy routine the other night! Though The NY Post reported that Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy got engaged on stage at the Laugh Factory in Long Beach, California on Saturday night, a rep for the actress has denied that the couple are engaged, telling X17online, "We've spoken to Jennifer and she has told us there is no truth to the report."
The Post reported that Jamie was performing at the comedy club and at one point, he pulled his lady love up onstage to tell jokes and sing. A witness reveals that an audience member yelled out, "Marry her!" - and Jamie got down on one knee and asked the actress to be his wife. Aww, poor J. Love! Looks like the joke's on her!
This is one of the reasons why dating a comedian is never a good idea...
