Jessica's Dog Daisy Taken By Coyote!

JSIMPSON101506_01.jpgPoor Jess! Poor Daisy!

Jessica Simpson just tweeted that her best girl Daisy was snatched by a coyote!:

"My heart is broken because a coyote took my precious Daisy right in front of our eyes. HORROR! We are searching. Hoping. Please help!"

We hear the horrible event happened on Saturday night. Neighbors of JS tell X17online.com exclusively:

"That evening [Saturday], we heard yelling and screaming coming from the direction of Jessica's house around 9 pm. I can only imagine that it was that moment that it happened ... because the next day we saw posters up around the neighborhood announcing that Jessica had lost her dog to a coyote. It's so sad."

Jess has even made posters asking for any information leading to her doggie's whereabouts.

Honestly, the situation sounds a bit hopeless, but we wish Jess the best of luck in finding Daisy.

You think it's too late to hope?

God that poor girl cant catch a break.

Posted by: Asha

lol I'm sorry to laugh but the way she wrote it sounds so funny. Poor Jess... Daisy is like her one true love. She hasn't been able to keep a man but Daisy has always been around. Too bad.

Posted by: Anonymous

Poor dog. That must have been horrible to see.

Posted by: Sarah

well.... sorry to say Jessica but I think your dog is dead.
On the flip side, people are talking about you again.

Posted by: Anonymous

I do feel bad for her dog. Still she is a media whore, not talented, and annoying as hell.

Posted by: Anonymous

The dimwit can't even take care of a dog properly.

Posted by: Li

why would you just sit and not CHASE after????

Posted by: Anonymous

How terrible!! My heart goes out to her. Yet another reason not to live in the dump that is LA. Overcrowded crap-hole if there ever was one.

Posted by: Anonymous

Very sad!!! I love two dogs of my own and seeing a coyote take your dog would be heartbreaking. Geez, Jess having a bad end to 2009. Hopefully, 2010 will be better. Love you Jess

Posted by: OkWhat?

oh how very sad
we have coyotes here as well, fear for all our pets.
something I try not to think about when letting them out
knock wood that nothing ever happens.

Posted by: Anonymous

WTF???
Why is she puttting up posters when she saw a coyote take the dog?
Coyotes read posters now and will return the dog?

Is there no end to this woman's stupidity or is this just another PR stunt to gain sympathy at the expense of her dog?

Where is PETA when you need them to investigate?

Posted by: casey

That is heart breaking. She must be devastated. It's going to take a while to get over it. Really sad :(

Posted by: Anonymous

Isn't the dog a gift from her ex? I guess karma's a bitch, or in this case, little Daisy. 100 bucks she will be on the cover of OK or Us with her sob story looking for sympathy. This chick should stop trying to sing, act, or anything else. Sorry about the dog though.

Posted by: Anonymous

I am no fan of the simpson family because of their attention whore ways, but this is terrible. I doubt that her dog will be found alive because coyotes love to devour them. Poor jessica. No boyfriend and no dog. It just keeps getting worse and worse for her as she fades into obscurity.

Posted by: OkWhat?

re:Anonymous
are you that stupid seriously
its not for the coyotes you idiot
its for other pet owners
wow, seriously read between the lines.

Posted by: Anonymous

Irresponsible owner! What is a lapdog doing out alone at 10pm in the dark? Jessica is an idiot.

Posted by: Anonymous

She can't even take care of a dog, so how on earth would she take care of a child?
Romo did the right thing and RAN! Whew, that was a close one.

Posted by: Anonymous

Obviously not in a gated area, not on a leash, and near an open area. This chick is so damn dumb it's unbelievable. She is clueless about everything, except for spilling her guts about her love life. What a pathetic loser, buy a damn goldfish idiot.

Posted by: Anonymous

Coyote spottings in large cities are occurring more and more and very dangerous. As we have more droughts, the coyotes are approaching the cities for food and water. Wildfires destroy their habitat. Then you have people who think it's "cute" to feed them and this only complicates matters. Coyotes have been know to snatch animals on leases and attack owners. I see them just trotting across the street all the time and I live in a huge city. Not necessarily her fault as an owner. Remember people, an innocent animal was lost.

Posted by: anonymous

Your sources are full of crap. Daisy went missing tonight. get your friggin facts straight.

Somebody in the know clearly is not in the know.
X17 give the girl a break & layoff.

Posted by: Anonymous

Very sad.My heart goes out to Jessica. She really loved Daisy.

Posted by: Jessfan

My heart goes out to Jess and Daisy. How sad. I don't know what I would do if this happened to me... Wish Jess some good luck and hope Daisy is alive..

Posted by: anonymous

Where is the friggin compassion with people these days. An animal that wa struly loved has been taken. There sure is a lot of idiots. How do you knwo it wasn't a gated communinity. Being gated or not means diddley squat. How old are you? It was in a back yard & more then likely gated & no in a private yard would not require a leash. Some of you people are just plain sick in the head. & furthermore X17 get toyr facts right the dog went missing tonight & not on Saturday. Give thsi girl a rest & for you that know nothing about ahving a pet I truly hope you never have one either. You have no right to own an animal

There are lots of nice areas in Los Angeles and Jessica hardly lives in a dump.
She is just too stupid or too self-involved to take care of a pet.

Posted by: Anonymous

If it happened tonight why is this retard texting instead of being out looking for her dog?
They don't come much dumber than Jessica.

Posted by: Anonymous

Yeah 9:10 - Daisy went missing - HORROR! as her post said. Since you know so much, why would she make this news public, sympathy maybe? And was it a coyote, if so, sorry or was it some red headed, freckled, strung out, former child actress who is a thief?

Posted by: Anonymous

Sine Jessica so rudely dumped Nick I have never respected or liked her but in regards to her dog, it was so clear she loved that dog very much and Iam also a dog lover if a coyote got my dog I would be devastated I know for sure she would never do0 anything to allow harm purposely to that dog,,,so for your dog Jessica Iam truly genuinely so very sorry but things happen for a reason maybe this is the incident that will bring her back to her senses and Nick where she has always belonged!
Poor sweet Daisy....I hope she did not suffer!

Posted by: Anonymous

Who lets their little dog run around alone in the dark?
I feel sorry for the dog but not for Jessica.
Dumb bitch.

Posted by: Anonymous

i feel so terrible for Jess and that poor innocent dog. my heart breaks.

Posted by: Anonymous

To attack her and get in digs concerning her personality/career is truly bad form. Her dog got snatched by a coyote for crying out loud! Has society become so heartless that one cannot express sympathy without persecution and blame. Obviously, very few of you are aware of living out West. If she were walking in the canyon and a mountain lion sprang upon her, I'm sure you'd charge that would be her fault! And asking why she didn't run after the coyote that took her dog, what a truly ignorant comment.

Posted by: Anonymous

She loved that dog to death. Literally. What a stupid cow.

Posted by: Anonymous

9:17 - you are an idiot. Wasn't my post, but who said gated community - learn to spell. A gated area can mean a backyard. In most cases a coyote won't jump a fence, snatch a dog, jump back over and run away. Obviously, you don't need a leash in a backyard. Get a clue. I own a dog, I make sure to keep an eye out on it, and not have it running around at night. Sorry for the dog, but it's clear wasn't in a backyard (gated area), but running around. Small dogs like that should be not thrown to the wolves, or coyotes, like that.

Posted by: Anonymous

I live in So. California. You don't shove little animals out the door at night and let them fend for themselves in the backyard.
Jessica deserves NO sympathy. Only the dog does.

Posted by: Anonymous

You are all such assholes! Who says she didn't chase after it!? This can happen to anyone anywhere! My heart goes out to both Jessica and Daisy. Hopefully she comes back safe!! :(

Posted by: Anonymous

923 - Just stating some very well known facts about coyote attacks in populated areas. Certainly, not claiming to know the exact account of what happened in her situation. As far as her making public, this type of communication seems to be the norm from celebs (A - Dlist) with Twitter, etc. Some celebs tweet way too much information!

Posted by: Anonymous

If she says "right in front of our eyes" the dog was NOT outside alone you idiots! Read the post!!! Morons!! Come back home safely Daisy!! Prayers are with you and Jess!! :(

Posted by: Anonymous

We all have compassion for the dog. Just not for dumba$$ Jessica.
Quit trying to wring sympathy for the ditz out of an incident she could have prevented - if she only had a brain!

Posted by: Anonymous

I live out in SF we have coyotes, people know about them and never let their dogs out to run around. This has been an dog issue for years, mostly for a dog this size. Sad, but the owner should have been aware of this issue. She seems to be extremely dumb, so not such a surprise.

Posted by: Anonymous

I am sad :(

Posted by: Anonymous

If a coyote got it, the dog is dead and she knows it. So why is she putting up posters and texting?
She wants sympathy again and coverage by mags.

She shoulda gotten off her fat arse and protected her puppy if it happened right before her eyes. God, there is no medicine for stupidity.

Posted by: Anonymous

really really sad....

Posted by: Anonymous

dumb broad got hit by the stupid stick

Posted by: Anonymous

Some of you people should just STFU. You don't know what happened and she's obviously clinging to any hope that her much loved Daisy might have somehow gotten away. Grow a heart you assholes.

Posted by: Anonymous

9:50 you are right. It's all about the media for this dumb-ass. Why would you text this incident to the ten fans you have in the world? All for the attention and whoa's me. Her dad and her will definitely reach out to all the tabloids.

Posted by: lola007

Very sad to read....I have a chihuahua and I cant even imagine her pain! I hate to say it, but I am sure its gone now.

Posted by: Anonymous

10:07 - Do you know what happened? You STFU! She was obviously let her dog run around and made a stupid mistake. Grow a brain asshole.

Posted by: hobieluv83

Poor Jess, I feel her pain. A coyote took my 12 year old cat a few years ago and left his remains on the lawn. She's a Texas girl, time to whip out the shotgun.

Posted by: Sarah

I sort of know what Jessica is going through right now. When I was a little girl, younger than eight, a wild dog took one of my pet rabbits and killed him. Also, just today, I had to have my cat, whom I've had since I was eight, and I'm now 22, put to sleep, because he was suffering from painful, violent seizures, and had a tumor growing on his face/mouth. So, my prayers and thoughts are with Jessica. I hope she doesn't have to experiene any further heartache, and that her dog is returned to her, safe, and hopefully unharmed, or, at least, not to badly injured.

Posted by: Sarah

*not too badly. . .

Posted by: Regina

I hope its not too Late, i have the same Breed of Dog my dog look really looks like Daisy! Im dog is a year younger that Jessica's Dog. I really hope her gets her dog back safe! I met Jessica in macys in chicago around Xmas and seen Daisy with her people. My Heart is with Jessica.

Posted by: coyteees kill

when I lived in the sfv a coytee got my cat Mikey named a fter mjfox and left in in my nieghboors yard. Rippe dto shreads. My nightboors showed more concern for themslefs having to clean up the remains of the cat than they did the cat. If you cant find the dog go find the coytee and have animal control take it. Thats what I did. its usaly one stalking the same area.

Posted by: Anonymous

Wow, this is really sad. I love my dog with all my heart and I would be heartbroken if that happened to my dog.

Posted by: Anonymous

So sorry she must be totally devestated. I know I would, that Dog was like her child have a little HEART for her.

Posted by: Anonymous

so...what colour is "carmel"?

Posted by: anonymous

She just arrived from Brazil and this already? Wonder if Mayer is gonna twitter anything about this (maybe not, depending on who his real gf is). He twittered about Taylor Swift 2x so far re the Kanye/Swift/Mayer stunt at VMA. Did you hear the Radaronline report about Mayer being in a stabbing scene at Crown Gold Bar, he was 1 ft away from the scene & is told to have left te scene & headed straight home---this was early Monday am, after VMA event. All these musicians are tiring really.....what else would you guys/gals come up with to get attention?

Posted by: MMMM!!!! CRUNCHY!!!!

Be sure to closely check coyote turds in the area! Daisy is sure to be there! Should be good solid turds from all the fiber..um...hair of Daisy. Just look for the little caramel colored tufts of hair sticking out!

Posted by: Anonymous

yes!!! we need more coyotes like dat in da world!

Posted by: Anonymous

Anonymous (10:08pm) - It's WOE IS ME, not WHOA'S ME! And you are calling her dumb? Hilarious!

As for the posters - obviously she is hoping that the dog got away from the coyote and that someone will find it.

Posted by: Anonymous

It is absolutely appalling how people seem to not care about anyone or anything. You posters posting the negative things about this girl are truly pathetic. Wish the coyotes would come carry each of you away one by one. Maybe then the world would be a better place!

Posted by: Anonymous

We love our CT cockapoo and know how hard it would be to loose her in such a way. We are very sorry for your loss.

Posted by: Anonymous

Some of you people have no hearts and no brains. She is obviously Tweeting about it hoping that Daisy got away. Her comment that Daisy got stolen from right in front of her eyes shows that she wasn't leaving her unattended. I live in Texas, in a very busy city and we have packs of coyotes walking down our street at night. Because of droughts and their natural habitats being taken away from them by humans wanting more and more buildings, they are doing everything they can to look for food and water. Jessica loved that little dog, and she was putting up posters and Tweeting about it in hopes that maybe Daisy got away and someone found her.

You people are so cruel and heartless. Just because you don't like her or the decisions she has made doesn't mean you should wish ill on her. I used to love her, but after the way she cheated on and left Nick, I have no respect for her anymore. But I wouldn;t wish for anyone to have their dog torn apart by a coyote.

Posted by: Anonymous

I feel so sorry for Jessica. I too have a small dog that I love very much and would be devastated if something were to happen, much less right before my eyes. Unfortunatly, a coyote is a prey animal and will take the opportunity when it sees one. It had probably been staking out her yard for more than just one night waiting...Sometimes no matter how carefull you are, bad things happen. My sympathies are with her at this difficult time.

Posted by: Bill C.

After my cat was taken by a Coyote, I did a lot of research on coyotes. They live to eat and breed, which sounds a lot like some of you posters. They can jump a five foot wall from a standing start. Where as many animal have one exceptional sense like maybe hearing or smell, Coyotes have amazing sense of smell, sight, and hearing. I have no idea where Jessica was sitting, standing or any other facts of the circumstances, and neither do any of you. Your goofy, babbling posts show mostly that the "misery loves company" saying is pretty true. You must be SOME unhappy people.

Posted by: Anonymous

Jess...really!
Do you have any brain left at all? Do you think coyotes read posters? Why wasn't your little dog on a leash? Do you have any sense of responsibility in your airhead? Good thing you don't have kids....you shouldn't be allowed to. Wake up...take a class...learn something about responsibility before you become any creature's guardian.

Posted by: Anonymous

At this point in time it is no longer a dog, its a carcass.

Posted by: Anonymous

Anonymous...really! Do you have any brain left at all? The posters are for people to read IDIOT! And when my little dog needs to go out to do her business I don't have her on a leash!! I sure hope you don't have kids IDIOT!!!!! Better take your own advice and go learn something!!!!!

Posted by: Anonymous

If she had a pit bull this wouln'd have benn a problem.

Posted by: Anonymous

If she had a pit bull this wouldn't have been a problem.

Posted by: fay

as an animal lover, I can't even imagine the horror that went through her when she saw her dog being carried off. Forget about it Jess, he's gone, that's a given. easy to say, but replace the love that was taken from you and be careful with the next one. so sorry, poor thing.

Posted by: Anonymous

WTF is she tweeting when she should be running after the coyote? The internet is not going to help you get your dog back from a coyote.

Posted by: Anonymous

Lots of rude comments here. I live on a ranch and my aunt lost a dog from a coyote taking it, it's hard to watch and not a good sight to see your dog taken away. That is what you should do is try to yell and screem at the coyote to get him to drop it. Come on people have some compassion. Animals are part of a family, sorry to hear Jessica!!!

Posted by: Anonymous

Yes Jessica I'm sure the coyote will return Daisy as soon as its done with it.

Posted by: Anonymous

WHAT IS A MATTER WITH YOU PEOPLE . . . JESSICA IS A HUMAN JUST LIKE US! SHE HAS LOST HER BEST FRIEND AND YOU PEOPLE MAKE CRUEL COMMENTS. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES! I FEEL FOR JESSICA HAVING TWO DOGS MYSELF, AND WOULD BE AN EMOTIONAL WRECK IF I LOST ONE OF THEM. BY PRAYERS ARE WITH HER.

Posted by: Anonymous

Of course the poster wasn't for coyotes to read? Ever heard of "tongue in cheek?" What I'm saying is this .....I live in the remote mountains and own a wonderful lodge. It is in the middle of a national forest. It is elementary to know that small animals in risky places should be on leashes. Whether or not you agree with that is your business, and your risk. It would be much smarter of Jess (if possible) to try to educate the public about protecting their pets so this won't happen to anyone else. When coyotes grab a small dog it's pointless to ask people to help find it. It's gone. The only trace will be in scat. Open up and admit even movie stars do really stupid things. Seems now more like a publicity stunt to ask for all this help. JESS...HELP OTHERS NOW THAT YOU KNOW WHAT CAN HAPPEN! YOU CAN REACH MILLIONS OF PET OWNERS WHEN YOU SPEAK. TELL THEM HOW TO BE CARFEFUL!

Posted by: The Coyote

Yep honey your dog is gone, except the fur, mmmmmm good, tasted like chicken.

I would also like to thank all you kind people for bringing back our numbers and not allowing those nasty trigger happy hunters to shoot us. Soon we will be coming to a back yard near you. Little doggy can you come out and play? We also love the taste of white pitbulls, they taste so good we have fights over the pieces.

Posted by: Anonymous

Hey Jess,
Sit in your back yard with a crossbow and wait for that beast to return! Then put up posters of its dead ass!

Posted by: Anonymous

what is wrong with some of you people? my heart breaks for jessica. daisy was her family member. have some of you taken the kayne kool-aid? empathy is the path to understanding...that is, if you have a brain. cut the girl a break, and stop the hateful remarks. my prayers are with you jess and hope daisy, if gone, is in god's hands.

Posted by: Anonymous

Who's gonna cut the dog a break? Empathy won't save more dogs from coyotes! Jessica could if she would. That's her choice. As a professional PR person my advice is....she should take a "higher stance" and help others instead of asking for "empathy". She needs a positive boost to her image...not a "victim" image.

Everyone empathizes with loss but it shouldn't override good sense, and one's moral obligation to keep it from happening to others.

Posted by: The Coyote

For all you people that are pervs I want you to know that when I grabbed her dog I noticed the girl wasn't wearing panties, made me wish I was human for a second, until the taste of the furry dog in my mouth brought me back to my senses. See some of us coyotes can read! And write! hooowwooooo!!!

Posted by: Anonymous

was it really a coyote that snactched your pooch! considering you dont know the difference between chicken and tuna fish ,you may need a relook..lol

Posted by: The Coyote

Well my mom was all coyote and my dad was half coyote and half wolf so I'm mostly coyote. Close enuff for me--I say I'm a coyote. hoooowwooooo
I guess there was a hint of wolf in that howl. Ok Ok I'm a mutt.

Posted by: EBROWN9151

Although the coyote has been observed killing sheep, poultry and other livestock, it does not subsist on domestic animals. Food habit studies reveal that its principle diet is composed of mice, rabbits, ground squirrels, other small rodents, insects, even reptiles, and fruits and berries of wild plants.

Posted by: RoRo

Very sorry, those coyotes are a real problem in some areas and pet owners need to be aware. Not the first horror story I've heard concerning coyotes grabbing pets and even attacking children right in their own yards. Get a good fence and keep your pet behind it.

Posted by: Regina

I hope not its not too Late i have met Jessica Last December at Macys in Chicago. I seen her dog with her people Daisey was so cute, i sure hope she finds her dog safe and sound she will be very Lucky should find her Dog. I will pray for Jessica to have her dog return to her. My Heart is with Jessica!

Posted by: PR Person, previously anonymous

I agree with EBROWN9151...but unfortunately their natural habitat is quickly disappearing. Now they live in and around our residences and sometimes domestic pets are all they have to eat.
Certainly the coyotes would prefer to have abundant wildlife and natural foods but we humans have made it pretty tough on them.

Knowing that we should take precautions with our beloved pets. It isn't the coyote's fault, nor is it the fault of the little dog. We must be responsible.

I still say Jess should take a positive stance and get the word out about this risk. She could save lots of little dogs if she'd do that ... AND save her dwindling image. Sorry Jess, but I'm surprised your PR folks haven't helped you. Get them to study up on how to protect our pets from rapidly encroaching wildlife and get the word out as only a celebrity can do. It's a problem that isn't going away quickly.
This would be a good cause for you to take up, Jess.

Posted by: chewendy

A DINGO STOLE HER BABY? Are you kidding me? how far away was she? i know she's a bit scatty but couldn't she take a class on how to use a leash. hopefully she got away-from jessica i mean!

People are so sick!!!! I pray that God forgives you for your nasty comments.

Posted by: Brenda - San Diego, CA

Jessica, I feel so badly for you! I live in a gated community and there are still coyote sitings. I would die if this were to happen to my dog and can't imagine how heartbroken you are. Lot's of love and prayers to you!

Posted by: Anonymous

Good Luck to Jessica. Doesn't matter who she is that's just sad.

Posted by: Anonymous

Perhaps the "fruits and nuts in California should ban more hunting and trapping. The next time some celeb might lose a child to a mountain lion then perhaps things will change but I doubt it.

Posted by: Anonymous

Re: Anonymous
I have a shitzu which is also a lapdog I let it out alone all the time. Just because its a small dog isn't going to stop a hungry coyote from at least trying. My uncle had a black lab and a coyote went after it. All you people say Jessica is stupid well I think you need to look at your own stupidity!

Posted by: Mya

OMG so sad. I cant even imagine I would have chased the coyote proly not much help. But CA is bad for them. I feel sooo sorry for her and Daisy. I cant even imagine I would die without my dogs and having to see that.

I cannot believe the negative, hateful things some of you are saying. We all make mistakes in life but that doesn't give you the right to be cruel to people who are in pain. Shame on you!!! Jessica I am sorry both you and your dog have experienced this, I myself was a victim of someone shooting my pets family)as well as others, just for the fun of it. I understand your pain and sadness and am sorry you have to experience it to. For the haters, find a cliff and jump!!! At least she's doing something and has some hope, what if the dog was able to get away and was injured? there is that possibility, and she did nothing, that would be the irresponsible thing "to do nothing". Alot of you sound like the type that thinks they know it all and do nothing but voice their negative opinion on others cause there own lives suck!! You seriously are sick!!! For those that care please show your support!!

Posted by: chewendy

so she made a "mistake"? my dogs mean everything to me, and yea it is horrible, but have some common sense, u don't let a small dog run free when u know whats out there. would u want her to watch ur dog while u go on vacation? a hater? no. but it does make me angry because pets rely on us for everything. i feel bad for her but i have a hard time getting past how terrified daisy must have been, and how her mommy was not there to protect her.

Posted by: Anonymous

How SAD, I can only imagine "Daisy's" last thoughts... 'THAT DUMB BITCH'

Posted by: Devyn

It is frightening to read these posts and realize how many shallow and callous people walk among us. It is no commentary on how well cared for an animal is if it is snatched by a coyote. These animals have become so bold that they will literally grab an animal that is leashed or standing right next to it's owner. Jessica was probably with her, watching her when this happened. Those of you who feel the need to make ugly remarks and vicious comments are truly pathetic. Jessica may find her dog, or recover from this loss, but you people will always be who you are, and that is the real tragedy in this.

YOU PEOPLE NEED TO GET A CLUE!! Grow up and have a heart, you don't know her personally, so how can you hate someone you don't even know? Were you there when the dog was taken? Did you see that she didn't try to do anything? You guys must have had your crystal ball. Truly you people need to get a life!!!

Posted by: Rebecca

Chewendy that is the most ridiculous statement ever. She shouldn't have "let the dog run free", "her mommy was not there to protect her"....??? Were you there?? She was probably letting the dog go potty right next to her, and that coyote may have grabbed that little dog in a split second. How would you have "protected" your dog from a wild animal who unexpectedly pounced? My guess is that Jessica did everything she could to save her dog, but without the skills of a hunter, there isn't much anyone in this unfortunate circumstance could have done for our pet. Quit being a judgemental fool. It is unkind and unfair and makes you look like a really miserable person.

are u kidding me? are u on medication? ur guess is just that, a guess. how would i protect her? same way i protect my children and my dogs. by being responsible. paying attention. keeping them from harm, thats what u do. right next to her? unexpectantly pounced? i concede-i had no idea u had all the details. judgemental fool? miserable person? i just lost my dog last summer and my husband to cancer a month ago. and believe me, i know that life is way to fragile to not protect and hold on to all u have. as i said i feel terrible for her i just cant fathom not being more aware of what could happen.

Hope she is still alive, Let us know if she comes home.
search for her

Karma is a bitch, I saw a pic of her wearing a fur, hope your dog didnt feel pain like the animals that have their fur ripped off their bodies.

How horrible for Jessie. I hope this is not true. Pets are more trusted and loved than human companions. I know she would feel just awful--for many months. It's not your fault Jessie!

Posted by: joybug_la

My heart goes out to Jessica because I know how a beloved pet like Daisy is almost like a kid in our hearts. And Daisy probrally also help her in a small way going through her divorce because my dog help me through mine. It's just a horrible way to lose a pet especially if she saw it happen.

Don't you have to be 18 to post on here? There are some truly "underdeveloped" contributors here! Why in the world Jess is "twittering" about this to get sympathy is weird. She in a downward spiral and only she can pull herself up. The dog is the one that deserves sympathy. Jess has every advantage one could possibly have on this planet and could have done all kinds of things to protect her little dog. No wonder Tony's gone.

Don't blame her. It's not her fault. We live right up against the desert and we hear the coyotes at night. It's a real problem when cyotes are around. Cats that don't get wise around here disappear fast. Don't blame her. Man has been encroaching on their territory for over a century. And for another thing, they can easily get into yards through small openings in fences. The coyotes don't know better. They have a role to play in the balance of nature too.

I feel sorry for that lady. How sad to see your pet taken like that.

Posted by: Anonymous

I believe all the people who are knocking Jessica don't own pets otherwise you would find some sort of compassion. You're more concerned about finding something to degrade her rather than consider the real problem at heart. It really saddens me that you're taking the opportunity of a missing dog to voice your negative opinions. I believe she is putting the posters up so she can bring her little daisy home whether she be alive or sadly dead so she can put her to rest. Goog luck Jessica.

I don't know why Jess doesn't focus on helping save other pets from this kind of thing instead of having her own line of shoes, purses, etc. If she feel so badly about it why isn't she concerned for all the other little pets that could get eaten up by coyotes? Seems to me her main concern is to get sympathy for HER, not the dog. She has the perfect chance to do something good and constructive here and show her true colors.....but I'll bet she doesn't.

Wow, there are some truly heartless people out there. If anyone has an animal and truly loves it, then you should damn well know how disgusting of an experience that would be. Poor Daisy, and poor Jess, that is truly horrible to see something you love so damn much, be taken in front of your very eyes. Get a heart people, life isn't THAT hard on you to become so negative. Callousness really isn't a good trait in humans.

Posted by: Anonymous

My heart is breaking for you. It's always so painful to lose a beloved pet but this is horrific beyond words. You and your little one will be in my prayers tonight. I'm so sorry for your loss. Ignore the haters and remember there are still some decent people in this world.

Posted by: anonymous

Wow....the insensitivity. For animals sake everywhere, I truly hope you are lonely and leave this world alone!!! You apparently don't have a glue about the love one has for a pet or the loyalty a pet gives an owner. And, to speak of JS like "you know her"!! I guess some people are so shallow that no one else can stand to be around them...that being stupid is all they know!!!Your comments really weren't in the least bit funny, amusing, or entertaining...just made me want to pray for you. Here's a thought...instead of wasting everyone's time on these heartless post....write Lisa and tell her what an amazing husband (Patrick Swayze) was...and send her your prayers.

Posted by: Anonymous

It's certainly not negative or harsh to ask her to help other people. Grow up. Callousness is asking for sympathy for yourself and not for the poor little dog, and not doing what you can to keep other people and their little dogs from suffering. Where was the huge entourage of body guards she has that could have helped protect Daisy? Quit worrying about this girl and worry about saving animals BEFORE THEY ARE EATEN BY COYOTES by educating people about what they can do. The National Forests have laws that REQUIRE PET OWNERS TO LEASH THEIR LITTLE PETS for the sake of protecting the pets! I think wildlife specialists who recommended these laws know more than any of you do. Of course it would be horrible to see that happen ... all the more reason to do everything you can to keep anyone else from going through that. But to just focus on pity for the woman is simply "star worship". There are more important things to do than just keep saying "there there you poor little girl." FOCUS ON THE POSITIVE THAT CAN COME OUT OF THIS!!!

LOL. I never read so many posts for a pile of shit. That's what that dog is now. You people are sick man! LOL.....

I live in a rural area in Arizona. Coyotes can jump a six foot fence easily. They dont care if you are outside at night, they know you cant see well enough after dark. They will clear a kennel fence, kill a small dog, eat the dogs food, and dismember it, and carry it over the fence in small pieces. They will follow Elk that are near calving time, and take the calf from Mother elk. She will average 500 lbs, and can run 40 miles an hour. They are smart, mean and REALLY good predators. To anyone that knows, most of you people sound like DUMBASSES. The best solution to coyote problems is skillful stalking with a rifle. They stay away when they realize they are prey near your home. Nothing else ever made any difference here. We used to breed dogs until the coyotes brought parvo to the property, They have strains that no vaccine can guard against. You folks blaming Jessica are ignorant of the facts.

That is so sad. How devastating for any human being that loves animals to see their own beloved pet taken from them so brutally right before their eyes.

Posted by: Anonymous

God! what a pack of moronic vipers you negative jerks are! More than half these posts are just petty. Its not jessicas fault, coyotes are really good at pet-snatching. The "TMZ" mentality people would probably neglect a dog, they secretly wish they were J.S. but are just not famous or attractive, & resent the hell outa that!

Posted by: WinnerTakesAll

It's amazing how many of you all care more about the dog that you do about Jessica. That's truly sad, but not surprising. I hope that she is not reading these posts and if she does, then you all just added pain to an already hurt person. Now, who's the human being?

Posted by: Anonymous

i am sad to hear about having to see your dog snatched by a coyote...but gee woman..learn to spell! 'carmel' is not a color...however CARAMEL is!!!!

Posted by: David

PITA has forced California to have an over population of these preditors. Phis will happin more unless Californians learn to ignore PITA.

the same thing happen to me, it is sad, I feel for her.

Posted by: Jessica

OMG! Jessica's Dog got eaten by a Coyote!!!! News @ 11!

Jessica's dogs is not the first dog to get killed by a coyote so I have no idea why this is even a story.

Posted by: Anonymous

That woman loved her dog, that's good.
The coyote is singing," Yummy, yummy, yummy, I got love in my tummy.....

Posted by: Anonymous

I like coyotes that eat other animals for free. Coyotes like humans for fattening up their food.

Posted by: Anonymous

If only some of you cared more about the millions of HUMAN BEINGS that are starving, homeless and losing their homes. It's called the circle of life, and unfortunately, Simpson's dog is part of that now. Jessica isn't the ONLLY person in the world to have had this happen to. My god a celebrity loses a pet and it makes national news. This is beyond ridiculous!

Posted by: Anonymous

You're right about 'beyond ridiculous"....and look how many "oxygen burners" are following this like it's an international crisis!

Posted by: Anonymous

This story is so sad. It breaks my heart for Jessica and for ANYONE who loses a pet. Losing a pet is like losing a family member.
