Has Kristin Found a New Career?

Laguna Beacher Kristin Cavallari never really enjoyed the breakout success of her former rival, Lauren Conrad (although there were rumors of her being recruited to spice up the next season of The Hills), but it seems she may have finally found life after reality tv.

We caught up with the California cutie leaving the Neil George salon Wednesday, when Kristin informed us that after shooting a short film (directed by Entourage's Kevin Connolly), she'll be heading up north to Canada to shoot a feature!

Paris Hilton's had a hard time translating her reality success to a film career - will Kristin be similarly cursed?



Maybe I'm wrong, but I think the only person who's had any real crossover success has been Jacinda Barrett (Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, The Last Kiss) from The Real World!

Judge to Lufti - Stay Away From the Britster

The Federal judge in the Britney Spears conservatorship saga has issued an order extending the restraining order against Sam Lutfi.

According to the order, Lutfi must stay clear of Brit -- and that includes phone contact -- through March 17. What's more, the judge ruled that Lutfi has been properly been served with legal papers. Lutfi's rep had challenged yesterday's service of process, but the judge said no problemo.

The judge has already indicated the case is headed back to State court. Lutfi has other problems. As TMZ first reported, LAPD's Robbery Homicide Division is investigating Lutfi for allegedly drugging Brit.

Oh, so this is why Kristin Cavallari and Kevin Connolly were getting jiggy with it down in Arizona Super Bowl weekend. There were stories of them cozying up and huddling in the corners. Now the truth comes out. He was recruiting her for his next project. Thank goodness. I thought the Entourage cutie had lowered his standards and was trying to pick Kristin up. I am very much relieved. Thanks X17!
