God Bless Lindsay and take care beautiful! I grew up in a very similar situtation Lindsay...Alcoholic parent with a turbulent marriage to my father...verbal and mental abuse...I've been through more and seen more than any 20 year old should have seen and been through. The mental anguish and trauma last far longer than anyone knows. Thankfully now my mother is sober - 6 and a half years...but I still have abandonment issues and trust issues...my father didn't have the capacity to share love after being married to my mother...so even though I lived with him after my parents divorce - I never felt any love from him - never. I totally understand her situation - because I've been there. And because I know what she is going through and pain that comes with it, I choose NOT to judge her and call her an idiot or a loser - I call her a victim of her situation and surroundings. You don't choose to become an alcoholic or drug addict - you become one to deal with your problems - and eventually it consumes your life. I have been to more AA meetings than most people with 20 years worth of sobriety - for support of my mother - and for my own addiction. Life is hard enough, but than to have millions of people crucify you and judge you and hundreds of photog's stalking you...its even harder...have a little compassion for your fellow man...we're all in this world together...God Bless you Lindsay...and it would be nice to see Alcoholics Annonymous actually remain ANNONYMOUS...shame on the media for publishing pictures of the Big Book (Blue Book in that womans hand)...

People, this is not the first time the girl has had trouble with the law and it won't be her last. That doesn't mean I don't feel sorry for her, she definitely has major problems and needs help. Someone was paid to set up a photo op, caught on a weekend they could keep her in jail until the Monday hearing and perp walk her in orange for the Paps and the agencies that pay for the pictures.

The cops in most places are on to this trick and simply do not waste time looking for you if you have such a warrant out but for the famous with paps on their tail 24/7 a phone call for the cops results in your being busted. The not looking for you is especially true if there is also a scheduled court appearance.

You are given a short period to fix the problem and report the fix to the court. There are a lot of instances where the court modifies the probation if the cause is justified.

In places other than LA, places where the courts are not an international joke, the judge and defense lawyer would be outraged and correct the behavior of the DA who tried a stunt like this. The defense lawyer would ask for sanctions as would the judge. The DA might also get a night in jail for contempt and wasting the time of the police and court.

the police has confirmed that they sent for vehicles to ronsons house because of receiving complaints all day about papparazis holding up the traffic in the area. there may have been a fight but the police did not arrive because of that and also i am very sceptical as to fight reports seeing as a something thrown through a window would have been heard on tape and the paps have been parked outside since saterday morning so why aren't they showing us this on video? either the broken window is a fabrication or it was broken before saterday morning (ronson was apperantly away-in canada working till lunchtime on sat so in that case lohan must have been fighting with someone else). it seems this was just spinned to make the story juicy to be honest.

You know, some people who have been posting think jail is some big cure all…
it’s not. Lindsay could sit in jail for 30 days (which she will not even get one) and all it would do is dry her out and allow her to make promises to her self and others that she would be unable keep. It does not remove the pain or desire that causes the addiction.

I think Lindsay feels that she has been invisible to people for many, many years. She knows her mother loves her but has used her and her father, well he is the cancer. Emotionally she has been performing for others and everyone
