the NY Post makes up stories about them all the time...like the time the Post claimed them to be causing drama at Samantha and Charlotte's b-day party at the Bowery BUT Samantha wasn't even in NYC - she was in LA on the evening in question. That was outrageous!

While she can be sunny and beautiful, it seems that Lindsay's disposition is often cranky and antagonistic - like she's easily pissed off. It's a by-product of her mental health/addictive personality.

For two people who are followed so closely for so much of the time, it is inconceivable that no one has video of the fight outside the nightclub....so the only logical conclusion is it never happened. As for trashing the hotel again no leaked photos...Yeh right...that really happened...plus doesn't Samantha's step brother own the hotel - I don't think Samantha and Lindsay would trash the hotel room.

Also There are a lot of photos of a happy Samantha and Lindsay on NYE - I don't believe that Samantha would maintain that view to the world if it were a sham...

I think the title of the post explains it all - yeh, why isn't there a video. TMZ has posted their "nuclear" fights with no support except what people (they most likely paid) make up...I mean tell them. Even people that claim to have been at the party and at the airport and on the plane can't get their stories right and lined up. Did/do they fight...I would bet. I have been with my partner for 10 years and it's not been without an occasional spat here and there. Is it always the end of the world and they are beating each other up and it's so ridiculous that the highlight of the story is a bum eating a sandwhich...that should really tip people off that it's crap once again.

Lindsay is the typical child of abusive, negligent parents. What she's really looking for (whether she realizes it or not) is someone who will set limits for her and enforce some rules, a loving, attentive parent, in other words. Unfortunately, to be her lover and her "parent" at the same time is almost impossible. It's also unfair to her partner, in this case, Samantha. Children of abusive parents are often terrified of true intimacy (not to mention dependency), and after the initial excitement of a new romance wears off, they become anxious and may act out in the relationship to relieve that anxiety. They don't understand how a healthy relationship works or how to conduct themselves in one. Lindsay is left imitating the behavior of both parents in their dysfunctional marriage. Deep in her heart, she "knows" this is going to end and that it's going to end badly, and the only way she can control the fear of when this will happen is to make it happen herself. It's sad and what she really needs is counseling. I hate that when people who have these kind of life issues seek relief through drugs and relationships people immediately place some kind of moral judgment on them. It may look unpleasant, but all this is really a cry for help. In my opinion, there are genuine feelings there (for both of them) but if Lindsay doesn't deal with her emotional issues, the relationship won't hold up. The reason I believe they genuinely care about each other is the way Lindsay is acting out. If she didn't care about Samantha (or she didn't believe that Samantha truly cared for her) she'd be handling this much better. I hope and pray that she seeks counseling for this and gets her life together. She's an amazing actress; her work in Freaky Friday was awesome as was her work in Just My Luck. Don't waste your talent, Lindsay!
