She did everything to save their relationship after the break-up (declared her love even on national tv) and always wanted to be with samantha. Lindsay was a fool for love and wanted the whole world to know she was with samantha. Sometimes it was painful to see how far she actually went to keep samantha. For +/- 6 months I see lindsay fighting for samantha and getting not much in return. Even people around samantha ignored her which is quite painful. Maybe she had enough of all the fighting and maybe she was right by saying 'your family's right, this is not love'.

If lindsay's going to see someone else, I don't blaim her. Girl gave everything and got nothing in return, only a lot of tears (post break-up!). Of course they'll both feel heartbroken, but lindsay can look back thinking I did all i could do (she even humiliated herself publicly to be with sam).
