Malawians Mistake Madonna For "God"

In something that could be straight outta The Gods Must Be Crazy, during Madonna's recent visit to the Malawian orphanage where she adopted David, one young orphan told the Queen of Pop, "You are our god."

According to Us, Madonna looked bemused by the little girl's comment, but "seemed cool with it."

Madonna "cool" with someone comparing her to a deity? Shocking!



First a Queen and now a God. What's next?

Uh, hello....Madonna is obviously not anyone's God but she can certainly be considered the savior of many Malawians, considering what she's doing for the country. Her amazing generosity is getting lost in the negative publicity and I think that's ridiculous. I admire her for putting her fame and power to such wonderful use.
