He definitely seems more interested in texting. He's probably in Paris to visit Wes Anderson, who lives there part time. I agree that her dating style seems stalker-like. There is something sadly desperate about her, but he seems pretty messed up too. Poor Ryder.

She gestures with her hand as if to show she's indecisive about something, and he totally doesn't want to hear it and doesn't look her in the eye. Then they see the paparazzi, Kate's posing for it and he's ready to get out of there. I wouldn't be surprised if she lets the paparazzi know where they'll be. She seems to want attention, and since Marley and Me did better than Bride Wars she'll latch on to Owen for the attention.

Ryder is spending time with his dad. And Owen Wilson is always like that towards her. I remember even the first time they were together, he was walking away from her. Then they were walking with her arm in his and he had his head down. I think he does it because he knows the paps are cornering them.

BTW - he's in Europe for the UK "Marley and Me" premiere this Monday. JA just flew out. He probably figured he'd squeeze in a Parisian vacay with Kate, although choosing to get out of LA during Oscar weekend was a bit odd. Maybe he wanted to avoid the festivities for some reason - maybe working on his sobriety (for real, this time)? That would explain the reunion with KH too.
