Paris' Hundred-Grand Night Out!
Paris Hilton may have a calming effect on men, but it sounds like she has the exact opposite effect on their wallets! Before she hit up the Green Door with her pals last night, Paris had actually jetted over to Vegas to meet up with Jeff Beacher and the rest of the gang at Pure for a charity auction benefitting the Nevada Cancer Institute.
The big prize, of course, was a chance to party with Paris herself - and with a prize like that, the bidding went pretty high pretty quick, with the final bid going for $35,000. Shockingly, though, the crowd turned out to be even more generous with that - as soon as Paris sat back down at her table, two other gentlemen approached her asking for the opportunity to match the donation! That brings the total amount of money Paris raised for cancer research to a staggering $105,000 in one night - way to go, Paris! If she can keep raising money in amounts like that, cancer doesn't stand a chance!
It's been a pretty good week for celebrity auctions, huh?
