Yesterday a melancholy Paris Hilton was spotted out and about after losing two of her beloved dogs to coyotes, and a source reveals exclusively to X17online, "Paris was really upset about it. Some people think she's eccentric, having so many pets, but she just really, really loves animals and it was devastating for her."

The attack happened at night, and Paris was at her Hollywood hills mansion the next day when it was discovered that the dogs had been killed. In the more remote areas of the hills, coyotes and other wild animals roam freely, so unfortunately this is something that happens to residents and their pets on a regular basis.

Right after the photos were snapped, the heiress hopped on a plane and headed to Milan, so hopefully a trip to the fashion capital of the world will cheer her up! We can't imagine how sad Paris must be right now, and our thoughts are with her.

Poor Paris!

aww i feel bad for paris! who would have thought coyotes in beverly hills?WTF.

Very sad - even if you don't like her you still feel really bad. Pets are like children to some people.

Poor thing :( I lost one of my dogs about a month ago, in apeaceful way though she got put down nicely cuz she was old and it was the best choice, and still I was devasted. I cant imagine losing a pet in such a bad way for them to die :(

Posted by: Anonymous

Oh please....... isn't nice that some can just jump on a plane to get away from it all. How devestating that your only worry is the loss of pets not how to pay your bills etc etc

Posted by: She is a LIAR!!

She is such a liar!!! She probably left her dogs in a closet like her previous ones and they died of starvation also!! Convenient this happened just as her new CRAPPY show is starting.

Posted by: She's a whore as well as a publicity whore!

Yeah, how come she never walked around 'melancholy' after SHE left her dogs in a closet to die??? Oh yeah, that's not good publicity.

Poor Paris? Um, okay? Two 3-lb dogs left outside at NIGHT in the hills? If that's the case, someone should remove the rest of her animals because that is unbelievably stupid! Poor dogs :(

Posted by: Who knows?

No fence around the garden, no fence around, the pool. Does Nicole&Joel visit sometimes?
When will Paris get pregnant?

Please, get real. If everyone knows about these attacks, then loving pet owners take precautions. Fire the pet sitter, fence the pet area, don't let the dogs out at night. Pretty sad people.

Posted by: Lock up the dogs! Be Fabulous Paris work your stuff in Milan!

I live in the Hills and Coyotes are everywhere. My house is gated and still the creatures often run across the flat roof! Our neighbor's little Yorkies were killed last year. When we leave the house at night the coyotes are everywhere and are not afraid of cars! Mulholland Estates, where Paris lives, is gated but backs up to an unbuilt/hilly terrain full of these animals. Paris should have known better but I do feel sorry for her. She won't leave her dogs out at night any more!

I'm sorry P.

I'm sorry you left your doggies in a closet and left them to starve to death. I hope you never procreate paris!

so sad...i totally know how she feels .. cuz i love animals myself.. sometimes when u lost ur pet.. u rather not be alone in that home where u alwaes see them playing n stuffs..u will be more sad .. so its good for her to get away for a while ..

Posted by: Anonymous

I wish the coyotes had mauled her instead...

Posted by: Linda

It is devastating to lose a pet, especially that way. We have coyotes here near Washington DC! Please, watch your pets when outside!

Posted by: DAMIEN

If that really happens, I felt so bad.. I couldnt imagine that ever happen to my dogs...

Posted by: Anonymous

She should have all her animals taken away. That's just plain abuse! If you really cared about your animals, you wouldn't let them out in the woods at night. It's so sad how people don't take care of their pets. It's also abuse to carry your animals around w/you shopping...they can get scared easily. Animals are not meant to be toys! Unfortunately, a lot of Hollywood treats animals this way...it's very sad!

Posted by: CL

Anyone who lives in SoCal like I do knows that the coyotes are everywhere. It's just plain irresponsible to leave a domesticated dog (especially little ones) outside unsupervised daytime or night!

Posted by: alexia

You never even see her out with any of her dogs anymore so I doubt she cares much. She is obviously not responsible enough to care for pets and should have them taken away.

Posted by: Anonymous

This is what happens when you live in the hills you mix people with nature. So stop all that poor puppy shit and move back to the city Bitch!!!

Posted by: Anonymous

If this it true then animal welfare should be notified for potential abuse, with all of her millions and her supposed intelligence, she should either hire someone to take of her animals or should have known better. Shame on you.

i live in bh by her actually and coyotes are everywhere and at a time like this even u ppl dont stop the shit talking and put downs lol seriously soo sad and pathetic i really think its all because u ppl lack happiness in ur lives so u find situations like these to put down.. wut losers hahaha

She is my favorite. Just saw her on milllionaire personals site """" W e a l t h y D a t e r . c o m"""""" last week. I am wondering what kind of relationship she is looking for on that site.Is she single again now? ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

Posted by: Too sad

I can't believe she would have left her two little, tiny dogs outside all night with coyotes. I don't believe it. She loves animals too much to take that risk. If you put them outside, you better be there with them, and then bring them back inside. I live in So. Cali also, but I don't have coyotes in my backyard, but my friend does who lives in Long Beach by a huge park though. She would never leave her animals outside. Maybe Paris should get two big Rottweilers. Would a coyote attempt that?

Posted by: Anonymous

why were her dogs outside alone? stupid, dumb bitch! her other pets ahould be taken away from her!

Posted by: Anonymous

what did she do to her lips?

Posted by: ladiii

suuuch loooosers all u anonymous ppl unless shes done something to u personally u all shud stfu cuz ur haters and u noooo u wiiiiiiiiiiiish u were like herrr haha fucking suck a c**kbitchessss

Posted by: Good charlotte freak

I feel really bad for those poor dogs. My friend's mother lost her little dog to a rottweiler attack earlier this year, and she was standing right there!! Things happen. We have Coyotes here too, and foxes. They are always killing pets.

Posted by: melissa

WELL,ACCORDING TO HER STATEMENT TO PEOPLE THIS REPORT IS A LIE....

Posted by: Anonymous

Well good lord.. let's hope she doesn't leave her children alone on this big piece of property! What were this little dogs doing out on their own anyways???

Posted by: Doors lyrics...

I see and hear coyotes everyday. Even in Van Nuys, you don't let pets out at night.

Posted by: Anonymous

Go to People.com and you'll see that this is not true.

Posted by: Trash! She's nothing but trash!

WHAT A LIAR!! Changes her story now that she is getting hell for not watching her dogs instead of getting the sympathy she was after.

Posted by: Sandy

Paris, I completely understand how you feel. I own property out here in Utah, and I lost my cat to a Coyote. It's a drag. And don't let anyone bully you about anything. We are all human. Your doing amazing! Regards, Sandy. :)

Sorry, I missed something ...
