In this case Rihanna was beaten badly and after a few weeks to heal she goes back to Chris "because she loves him". And then the excuses go on and on...(I don’t know that Rihanna said any of this it is just an example of what is said in actual cases) "he will never do this again"..."He Loves me and he made a mistake"..."I did something that made him mad"... so he hit me.
Let me say this: If a person beats you, threatens you and then talks his or her way back into your life It Will Happen Again. What's to stop it from happening again???? Not ONE Thing. The message to the abuser is: I let you get away with it once…so why not let me get away with it again.

I agree with you Kat. People are so small-minded. It is hard to walk away from someone you love over night, even when they hurt you. Why do you think people stay with cheating partners...even though this is even riskier than physical abuse with the threat of HIV/AIDS. I don't think she realises it's not just her life at risk, it's her emotional and mental health due to being in a toxic relationship that's at risk, i don't judge her but she obviously hasn't met anyone who's suffered the effects of abuse and it's not just the physical abuse she needs to be worried about, i just don't see this relationship as having much of a future after going through something like this and in the public eye it would make it much worse and much more pressure on this relationship, hopefully this is just temporary till she (in her mind which might be what she thinks she's doing) fixes his public image and then maybe they will quietly walk away when things settle down.

i think that rihanna is a very smart a talented woman who makes the desicion on who she wants to date. she controls thaqt it is not anyone elses opinion that matters. personly i THINK THAT A MAN SHOULD NEVER PUT HIS HANDS ON A WOMAN tht just shows how less of a man they are... but whatever desicion rihanna makes is her own and others should support her and her happiness.. i hope that she and chris are happy and make it strong thoughtout everyhing.
