Honestly, I'd say Rob - and not just because he's Edward. Yes, Efron may be quite talented musically, but Rob is also a sing-songwriter, and plays piano and acoustic guitar. I know Efron is trying to break away from HSM, and persue a career as a serious actor, but I think this may have cost him the chance to actually be taken seriously in the acting profession. We all can't deny that Efron and Crawford are good-looking, but can they really act? Rob definitely has the potential to shine, if he isn't doing that already. I'm really looking forward to How To Be and Little Ashes (the producer said that Rob as Dali is 'extraordinary'). Crawford has slightly more depth than Efron, and we'll see how he goes on Gossip Girl. Rob, really, could make it big, in my opinion.

Easy. It's Rob. I hate to draw comparisons with other actors because I think Rob is very unique, but he has the same appeal that draws people to Depp and Bale. Not that he's imitating them, but he's got a similar 'it' quality to those two actors. He definitely has more range and depth than the other two you mentioned and even though I think Jake Gyllenhaal and Ryan Gosling are fantastic actors, I think Rob is one for them to watch out for. Yes, he's extremely good looking and he's playing Edward Cullen but his past and future works will prove his talent. And I really like how he doesn't seem to care that he's on everyones hot list. He seems to want to be a serious actor. Hopefully that's true because like Depp and Bale, he'll need fan and industry respect to attain longevity.

Rob, hands down. He's the only new comer that has the talent to even begin to compete with other young and talent actors. Sorry Zac and Chace, but pretty blue eyes will only get you as far as a Disney movie and a tween drama.
Rob seems to take acting risks (can't wait for Little Ashes) and even though he's been featured in two blockbuster type movies (Harry Potter/Twilight) he's also done some really serious work. Variety is key and his past work speaks for itself.

I'm putting my money on Pattinson for staying power. The twilight book series has the potential to be bigger than Harry Potter. My 17 year old daughter is outright obsessed with the books, plus unlike Harry Potter, these books could appeal more to adults as well as teens, Harry Potter was more of a kiddy franchise.

I might be a little bias because I've never really seen Zac perform and I don't like Gossip Girl, but the work Rob has done to date would be really difficult to beat for either Zac or Chace as it apprears they are all surface and no substance. Of course Zac is hearthrob, to nearly every teenage girl in America and indeed the world, for the past 3 years. Although I hope he has passed that phase now, he is still recognised world wide, he is such a talented actor. A lot of you are blind and can't see that, Rob has been in so few movies, Zac has been in one of the biggest ever, which continues to break box office records.

Last I checked, it was Rob who could bust beautiful music with a guitar and a piano. Sure, sure. Zac Efron has garnered LOTS and LOTS of attention, thanks to Disney. I have to 2nd, 3rd, and 4th ppl's comments regarding the audacity of X17 to even compare Rob with the likes of Zac "makes me feel icky, in a bad way" Efron and the other guy who looks like someone embalmed him for a funeral...these guys are just pretty, one hit wonders...Rob is so much more than just his pretty face, and damn awesome sex-hair...he can actually act!!! Unlike the other two, who make me want to pull my veins out one at a time when I have to watch them on screen...Rob will have a long and memorable career and poor Efron will be part of a "whatever happened to..." tv special...

Yeah I'm failing to see how these three are being compared to one another. Sure they all have brown hair and blue eyes but that's where the similarities end. Rob is definitely a stand out. Just look at his body of work. I'm sorry but I don't see the appeal of Efron and Chace is frighteningly pretty for a dude, not to mention he hasn't really proved himself as an actor. Rob has what it takes to last. Hopefully that's the case.

This has to be a joke...right? Come on! Chace and Zac are Tween sensations while Rob is quietly building an impressive film resume. I can see him following in the career foot prints of Johnny Depp or Christian Bale, not that I'm comparing him to them. He's totally unique and he seems pretty serious about acting. I think that Twilight will force him into the spotlight for the wrong reasons, which is unfortunate, but the industry will hopefully take notice of his up coming films and see that he really does of ligitimate acting chops. So Rob by far has the best chance to survive Hollywood.

Ugh...how could X17 even pose this ridiculous question? Isn't it obvious? While I have to admit Chace is a "heartthrob" I'm not overly impressed with his work on Gossip Girl and I don't get the Zac Efron appeal. He's way too metro for my taste. Give me Pattinson any day over these two. I can honestly say he has the whole package and I'm actually looking forward to his upcoming projects, not to seeing him on the cover of tweenie magazines.

I'm going to have to disagree with the opinion that Zac Efron is the "most talented" out of the three. Though I've never seen Crawford's work, I assume he's got at least some talent. And Lord knows how talented Rob is.
But I also don't agree that Efron and Crawford are "teenie bopper" "one hit-wonders". Obviously - They had a few more than one hit.
I believe Pattinson is going to be the next big thing though. He's already got a list of fantastic roles. "Twilight" will get him noticed, possibly not all in good ways, but it's just one role.

Even as a big Rob Pattinson fan and a Twilight fan - I am not ashamed to see him grouped with the other two actors.

If this was a poll, Rob would be the winner by a landslide. People who aren't even Twilight fans are taking notice to Robert, mostly because the buzz behind him is enormous. But rest assure after November 21st, Robert Pattinson is going to be at the end of everyone's tongue. It's a little scary to think about, because he's already become so popular. To anyone who hasn't spent a fraction of time researching the great up & coming Rob Pattinson, Twilight, the "teen" sensation novel-saga, in which he stars, would be the only thing they would know. Thus, our Rob gets lumped in with the somewhat talented, way-overexposed likes of Mr. Efron & even Mr. Crawford. Had ANY real effort gone into checking out what is really going on with Rob's career, a level of depth would have been uncovered that would have made this silly comparison moot. By the same token, I am happy for Rob to get any of the publicity he deserves, even if it is thoroughly lacking.

There's no question and actually no comparison, it has to be Rob. No pun intended for Zack and Chace fans. Robert has the looks, the talent and in a perfect position right now to make it really big as an actor. Zack and Chace makes me think of them as kids, I have yet to see them portray roles that would showcase their potential, so people will outgrow their popularity. With Rob, I don't think people will ever get enough him. There's a lot of publicity out there for him, and he has films coming where his talent shines (literally dazzling--- How to Be, Little Ashes, Parts per Billion). So yeah, no question. And not only a teen heart throb, but a serious and mature actor as well, that goes along side Heath Ledger, Johnny Depp, etc.

In terms of staying power I'd say Rob for certain, Zac is already p***ing me off with his plastic every boy looks, and I'm sorry I don't know Chase. Rob all the way..
