I've known a number of female friends who stayed active and physically fit throughout their pregnancies, gained a minimum of weight, and looked almost exactly the same after giving birth. The difference is that, unlike the majority of American women, those friends of mine continued to eat right and put in the effort to exercise instead of using their pregnancy as an excuse to stuff their faces and lay around all day. Most American women morph into disgusting pigs when pregnant, and that's simply not natural. As a result, the majority of them retain much of that added weight the rest of their life, relegating their poor husband to tolerating 40 or more pounds of additional female flesh that he never bargained for. That should be grounds for no-alimony divorce!
