I bike, but you wouldn't catch me out without a helmet, even for a short jaunt around the neighborhood. It's a bit of a bother, but a serious head injury is a lot more of a bother. Plus the colorful spandex.. keeps you comfy and very visible to cars. And the spandex is comfy...
