Suri is probably carried for her safety! Geez - the kid is probably freaked out by all the camera's in her face. My daughter is almost 3 and will be starting dancing in a few months. I really don't think they are "trying to get her on the stage" it's about getting her involved with other kids and learing how to follow in a class environment. Kids this age love music and dance and I think it's as simple as that.

Wow. I wonder if any of you commenting actually HAVE children. Some children do not potty train fully until closer to age 4 -- it isn't uncommon. Some children also still require diapers for longer trips/over night because they haven't properly perfected toilet training. It's through no fault of the parent - some kids just don't train easily. I have a 7 year old autistic son that still is not potty trained, because he cannot understand the concept; he functions at the level of an 18 month old. Care to pick on him for his delays? And those commenting on all the bruises...ever see how kids play? They run, jump, fall down, bang toys around - kids get bruised! Children bruise a lot easier than an adult, and a lot more frequently due to their rough play. And there's nothing wrong with putting a kid in a class -- it's actually RECOMMENDED. Get a kid in school, or dance/gymnastics/soccer/whatever, for their SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT as well as MOTOR SKILLS. IF you leave a kid at home to 'color and play with dolls', you're going to end up with an antisocial child that has anxiety issues when entering school or normal society. How about you take some time and do something productive now -- like go read more about children, because clearly, none of you have ANY clue what kids are like.

YES, Katie always plops Suri's butt down on the food counter. Clueless. AND, do you see how modest Suri is? She's trying to cover herself with her blanket. Katie is, of course, clueless to even notice that Suri's butt is hanging out. Poor little Suri.
Suri might be going through another "ugly" stage. She was hideous when she was one (reference her 1st b-day party). EESH. And now maybe again, she's going through a phase of ugly, but I think she has good genes, and she'll turn out to be a very pretty girl.

I love them. Suri is adorable! Tom and Katie are being good parents by not locking her up and letting her do little girl things: like going to the park in NYC and dance lessons. She has bruises because she's a toddler. If she didn't then they really wouldn't be letting her live. She's just born into privelege letting her do far more than any of us will ever be able to do in our wildest dreams! And not all kids are potty trained by 3. Read a book on development! Not to mention the constant change of pace for this little girl. Kids need serious consistency with potty training. Where it always looks she has doting and loving parents, she doesn't necessarily have consistency in her life.

Is this child still thumbsucking??? Hmm I'd say..this child has everything...but a very very very needy child. I wouldn't be surprised to learn she has "special needs". She's 3 1/2 and she's still on diapers (granted the photo was a few months older) but the way this child shows on these photos clearly says SPOILED ROTTEN and no compliments on this one baby...this is pure shame.
