LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Christie Brinkley has agreed to pay her ex-husband Peter Cook $2.1 million, and is reportedly happy with the agreement that was reached early this morning. Attorneys for both Brinkley and Cook negotiated all-night at the Marriot Hotel in Long Island, New York and announced the settlement at 6:15am this morning, according to ABC News.

Brinkley was granted full custody of the couple's two children, Sailor and Jack, and will keep a total of 18 properties in the Hamptons and Turks and Caicos.

Brinkley told the media outside court today that she fought so aggressively against Cook because "a mother's greatest fear is someone taking away her children." She added that she doesn't regret marrying Cook because "I have this beautiful daughter as a result of this union."
