Paramount's president, Adam Goodman, has offered the duo a two-year producing deal. Aside from Gossip Girl, their TV credits include The OC and Chuck.

Schwartz and Savage already have one project in the works under the new deal ... an adaptation of Jay McInerney's novel Bright Lights, Big City. Schwartz will direct while Savage produces.

Their Paramount deal officially begins June 1.
