200907_ma200jpgLOS ANGELES, Calfornia (X17online) - Mad Men's creator Matt Weiner promises to bring back the hit show for three more years ... with no characters being cut in the process. Weiner confirmed the news after signing a 3-year, $30 million deal with Lionsgate and AMC.

Weiner released the following statement:

"The cast decisions are creative decisions, not financial decisions. This was never about money. It's about me continuing to make the show the way it is . . . I feel its uniqueness is integral to its success."

The companies and Weiner had reportedly been fighting over the show's running time, product placements, budget and his salary.

In the deal, Mad Men's season opener and finale will run for 47 minutes while the other episodes run for 45 minutes ... allowing more commercials to be sold.

Weiner adds:

"I hope the audience will be patient. We'll make it worth it for them. I'm so excited I get to finish it."

Once the three years is up, the show will end for good.
