On Friday, the two celebrities and long time friends filed a joint lawsuit against Digital Projection Inc. of Georgia and Beyond Audio of Canada, alleging misappropriation of publicity rights, trademark infringement and negligence.

"Defendants prominently used large photographs of Plaintiffs in Defendants' advertising, marketing and promotions including print advertisements published in numerous magazines over the past several months," their lawsuit read. "Accordingly, Defendants are liable to Plaintiffs for the infringement of their publicity rights, privacy rights, and trademark rights."

Clooney and Roberts have yet to speak about their lawsuit in public but are reported to be seeking unspecified compensatory damages, as well as treble damages, punitive damages, attorneys fees and an injunction against further use of their names or images in conjunction with the two companies.
