With friends like these - who needs security guards? We spotted Ryan Phillippe out last night with Nikki Reed, and he seemed perfectly sociable, even talking to one of our photographers - but his friends weren't quite so affable!

As soon as they spotted our cameramen, two of Ryan's friends - including She's the Man's Channing Tatum - went bananas, following our guys around and threatening to grab their cameras. Luckily, our guys had the presence of mind to drive to the Hollywood Police Department before confronting them, so when Channing and his sidekick got in our guys' faces, the cops were right there to scoop them up!
