Rosario Dawson Won't Be Ground Down

Although the studios might be disappointed with Grindhouse's opening-weekend take of a paltry $11.6 million, its stars seem to be taking a different attitude towards the project - just ask Rosario Dawson! The Death Proof diva couldn't have been more upbeat when we caught her leaving Teddy's Friday night, with nothing but hopeful words about her project-packed future and a bubbly enthusiasm for Grindhouse's prospects. (Of course, given her history of starring in movies like The Adventures of Pluto Nash, she's had an awful lot of practice taking box-office results in stride!)
I really wouldn't be too worried about Grindhouse making its money back in the long run either - lord knows it wouldn't be the first time either Quentin Tarantino or Robert Rodriguez directed a flick which did better on DVD than in the theaters!
