Mom and Dad to the Re$cue?

Within 24 hours, Paris went from jailbird to freebird to public enemy number one! The public's outrage initiated when they first heard she was released due to a "medical condition" (don't they have a medical facility at Lynwood?), but only gained momentum when it was revealed that the "condition" was more psychological than physical! According to The Post, Paris was traumatized by her three days in the clink, spending her time "crying alot" and being "depressed." Hmm, isn't that what being in jail is all about??? Is there one set of rules for the rich and famous and another for the rest of us?
Rick and Kathy certainly seemed anxious to see how their firstborn was doing yesterday, wading through the crowd of media camped outside of Paris' house. Kathy was uncharacteristically tight-lipped on the subject of her daughter's health, but writer Dominick Dunne, who had come to observe the circus outside of Paris' house, had plenty to say!
Regardless of whether or not she deserved to be in there in the first place, do you think the "Hilton Defense" is a valid reason for Paris to be released on house arrest or do you think she deserves to go back into the slammer (which might happen as early as today)?
Sheriff Baca's decision to go against the judge's orders and allow Paris to serve her time under house arrest has definitely cost him his reputation and may even cost him his job! Who knew a celebutante getting a DUI would spark a nationwide controversy?
