Britney was fearless (except when she was afraid of cutting her foot on the jagged rocks and had her bodyguard carry her across to safety), splashing into the cold Pacific Ocean with a friend (not Lucy Walsh, as previously identified), looking happy - and free.

One of the reasons she may be so happy is that rumor has it that she's shooting a music video today (if she hasn't already)! This message appeared on one of her dancers, Criscilla Crossland's MySpace page earlier today:
