According to the latest rumor making the rounds (courtesy of
EW), not only is Britney Spears' big comeback single slated to hit the radio this weekend, but it's coming courtesy of one of the hottest producers in the game today - Timbaland protege Nate "Danja" Hills! Yes, Timbaland's ear for talent seems to have paid off again; over the last few years, Danja's been an invaluable asset to Tim, helping craft the intricate synth-swooshes of songs like Justin Timberlake's "My Love" and Nelly Furtado's "Maneater". But don't go thinking Danja's just a cog in a machine - as his immaculate job on DJ Khaled's "We Takin' Over" ably demonstrates, he knows damn well how to come up with a hot beat on his own!
Sounds like Britney's picked herself a winner - now all we have to do is wait for "Gimme More" to hit the
internet radio to hear for sure!
The big question: How do you think Danja's post-Tim career is gonna end up comparing to fellow ex-Timbaland-disciple Scott Storch's?
