That's right: Contactmusic is reporting that the two British megastars (and residents of Los Angeles) might be moving in next door to Susan on Desperate Housewives! Apparently, show creator Marc Cherry was tickled, er, pink by the prospect of playing off the combined machismo of the footballer and the pop star, pointing out that "the English are pitch-perfect for sending themselves up." And, hey, the fact that they happen to be primo eye candy probably didn't hurt either!
