Paris Goes For The Gold

Frankly, if I wanted to dress like Paris Hilton and buy clothes that she's designed, I wouldn't want to emulate this gold number ... So why'd Paris wear this to the launch of her clothing label? It's shimmery, sparkly, and kinda yucky, no?
