Thanks to one of our eagle-eyed commenters (who chose to remain anonymous), we can ID the troubled star's gal pal as Carolina Cerisola, a world champion salsa dancer who's made appearances in both videos and at super-hot clubs. This isn't the first time the Argentine hottie's been linked to Owen, either - the couple dated for a few months back in 2004 after meeting at the Forty Deuce. According to Us Magazine, the pair reconnected following Owen's brush with death in August. See? Every cloud has a silver lining - even this one!

We spotted the pair cavorting on the beach after their scooter ride - let's hope that Caroline sticks around to keep Owen's spirits high! (According to our photographer, we probably shouldn't expect anything else - he swears they looked like they were in the middle of a date!)
