It's been a long while since Dina Lohan has made a comment about her famous daughter, Lindsay, and that's the way we like it! Unfortunately, Dina broke her silence today by talking to People. "Lindsay has been given a new start and will put this behind her," the mom-ager says. Uh, okay, thanks for the info? Dina also declares: "She [Lindsay] is focused on educating others of the dangers of drinking and driving." How would you know, Dina? Have you even been in L.A. to see your daughter? Even her b/f Riley's been more supportive than you!

Momma Lohan was better off keeping quiet! Lindsay will be fine without her mother's enabling help.
