Katie Holmes, carrying an over-sized red Birkin bag that matches her red heels, did some last minute shopping at Maxfield's Friday, trying to beat the weekend Xmas rush!Although she's only just turned 29, she's really taken to the role of matriarch of the Cruise family - in fact Katie revealed to Parade magazine that Tom's kids Conor and Bella even call her "mom"!
