Amy Winehouse AWINEHOUSE011108_51.jpg Amy Winehouse and Mark Ronson

We'd just like to congratulate Amy Winehouse for picking up five Grammy awards last night.

The troubled pop star collected statuary for Song of the Year, Record of the Year, Pop Vocal, Pop Vocal Performance, and Best New Artist. Her only snub came in the Album of the Year category, which saw her lose out to Herbie Hancock.

Mark Ronson, co-producer of Back to Black with Salaam Remi, also picked up a Grammy naming him Producer of the Year, Non-Classical.

Although Amy was unable to appear in person to collect her awards or perform at the show, she appeared to be genuinely thrilled when accepting her awards via satellite.

During her acceptance speeches, Winehouse thanked her parents, her record label, and her husband Blake - or, in her words, "Blake, incarcerated". She also dedicated her awards to London, much to her British fans' delight.

Again, we're thrilled for Amy's success - we just hope she's able to use to motivate herself to get better!
