Adam Streisand - a distant relative of Barbra - is outside of the courtroom right this second. He says the following:

"Britney contacted me over the weekend (which was against her father's wishes)... I was referred by Trope. She's upset about the process. She wants her voice to be heard."

Adam continues: "She asked me to express her desires. What she wants is to have a neutral, independent party looking over her medical care and finances. What she does not want is to have her father in control of her life."

More interestingly, when asked about his client's competency, he said that he "doesn't agree" with the court investigator's analysis.

"In my conversation with her, she was lucid. I wouldn't be here if she wasn't."
