Doctors in California and Texas have been cleared in an investigation into the medications they prescribed to their patient Heath Ledger who was found dead in his New York apartment last month.

The docs did NOT prescribe the two power drugs OxyContin and Vicodin that were found in Ledger's body in the autopsy, according to the New York Post.

The Drug Enforcement Agency had questioned two physicians Ledger was found to have visited recently before his death but the investigation found them innocent.
