Frenemies & Fraitors: The Truth Behind Hollywood Friendships

As we all learned from Mean Girls, "frenemies" are enemies who act like friends and "fraitors" are friends who secretly hate you. Of course, this kind of drama doesn't just exist in movies - it's very much present in young Hollywood!
For our first example, look at Lindsay Lohan (star of MG) and her BFF Samantha Ronson. But has Sam always been a good influence on Linds? At least she's helping LiLo with her new album now... our favorite rehabber doesn't need anymore toxic people in her life!
Speaking of which, there's Brandon Davis - ya know, the one who launched the "firecrotch" tirade against the 21-year-old starlet. Heiress Paris Hilton used to be best buddies with this dude, but we're glad that's over with because Paris is better off without him!
And don't forget about the Brits! Rocker Pete Doherty has certainly influenced - at least to some degree - the hard-partying ways of ex Kate Moss and pal Amy Winehouse. Think these gals are better off on their own?
Finally, there's our beloved reality stars. With the return of The Hills, we can definitely expect to see more Lauren/Heidi/Spencer drama... but what's real and what's fake?
Guess that's the point - sometimes, you never can tell!
All the way back to Larry Birkhead (and Howard K. Stern) and Anna Nicole Smith, we have to wonder just how much influence these possible "frenemies" have over celebs. For our first example, look at Lindsay Lohan (star of MG) and her BFF Samantha Ronson. In your opinion, who do you think is the worst "fraitor" of all?
