Queen B is giving back! Life & Style are reporting that Brit was so impressed by Idol Gives Back last night that she donated $25,000 to the cause promoted on Wednesday's show -- children in Africa with malaria.

A source tells the mag that Britney did it all on her own -- she went online and read up on the subject and after getting her dad's permission, she charged the sizable donation to her American Express!
