ContactMusic.com is reporting that the pop princess' papa has quit his catering job in order to be his daughter's conservator full-time. Of course, Jamie's time won't be coming cheap - he'll be getting paid $2500 a week!

The article cites court documents in which Jamie describes his duties as conservator as "requir[ing] full-time attention". Of course, he'll have some help from co-conservator Andrew Wallet, who's been assigned to the pop princess' case until July 31st.

Fortunately for Jamie, he won't have to wait to get his hands on his salary - the court's already awarded him a lump-sum payment of $10,000 to cover the first month.

Of course, we're sure a devoted daddy like Jamie would give it all back in a heartbeat if it helped his daughter!
