Expectant mama Jessica Alba spent some time earlier today at the Thomas Riley High School in Los Angeles, talking with and donating goodies to the nearly 200 girls who attend the school. Thomas Riley High School is a special public school in the Los Angeles Unified School District dedicated to pregnant teens.

Principal Linda Roussel told X17 exclusively that Jessica simply showed up because she had heard about the school and wanted to do something to help the young women there. Roussel said that Jessica is "a role model to many of these girls," and she went to every classroom to give the young ladies (many of whom come from low income homes) some inspiration. Jessica and her bodyguard arrived in separate cars and brought in 23 boxes of baby clothes and other necessities for the young mothers.

We applaud Jessica for being generous and donating her time and money to a worthwhile cause - hopefully she'll inspire other celebs to take this kind of hands on approach when it comes to charity!
