John Travolta mileyjohn.jpg It's hard to imagine a stranger singing duo than Miley Cyrus and John Travolta - but truth can be stranger than fiction!

E! is reporting that, at yesterday's Step Up Women's Network Inspiration Awards luncheon, Travolta's wife Kelly Preston revealed the Grease star might be doing a duet with the controversial teen queen in the near future. "Johnny may sing with Miley," she said - needless to say, we can't wait!

Keep in mind that this isn't just some wishful thinking on Preston's part - she and John have considered Miley a friend to their family ever since their daughter Ella dragged them backstage to meet her idol two years ago during one of Miley's performances opening for the Cheetah Girls. "We know Miley very well," Preston said, "and she's a sweetheart".

Needless to say, Kelly's not too worried about the still-swirling controversy over Miley's racy Vanity Fair photos - in fact, quite the opposite! "All I know is that I know her personality," Preston said. "She's a really good girl with a great head on her shoulders."

Travolta's reps deny any potential collaboration between the pop starlet and the actor; calls to Cyrus' reps were not returned in time for publication.

Hopefully this goes down - Miley and John may make for an odd couple, but give 'em a medly of Grease songs and we bet they'd tear the roof down!
