Owe J. Simpson!

Poor O.J. Simpson - and before you ask, we're using the word "poor" as literally as possible!

In order to shame delinquent taxpayers into doing their duty, every so often the California tax authorities release a list of people who owe the most dough to the government - and the most recent edition shows that the Juice owes Uncle Sam a staggering one point five million dollars! ($1,527,925.92 to be exact - but who's counting?)

Of course, this is hardly O.J.'s first appearance on the list - back in October of last year, Simpson shared space on the list with other D-listers like Dionne Warwick (who owed $2.67 million) and comedian Sinbad ($2.14 million). Those folks, however, paid up in a hurry to get their names taken off the list - unlike O.J., who's actually seen his tax debt rise by almost $100,000!

Sounds like O.J. better get cracking on another book - it can be murder trying to cut a debt like that one down!
